Are you willing to be vulnerable?

Welcome to the Truth Booth
What is vulnerability?
According to the Oxford Dictionary, vulnerability is the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally. Sounds a little scary, huh? The thing about vulnerability is that it is a little scary. It's a risk to be vulnerable. It’s not comfortable, but it is necessary. Brene Brown said it best. “We can choose courage, or we can choose comfort, but we can’t have both. Not at the same time.”
Vulnerability is at the heart of connection. It is at the heart of love, relationship, peace and joy. Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone. We’ve all heard the cliché. Well, it’s true. All the good stuff in life takes place outside of your comfort zone. Joy takes place there. Laughter takes place there. Sadness and tears also take place there, but most of all, outside your comfort zone is where growth happens.
What did we do?
We set out on campus with nothing but a box of notecards, some pens, a camera, tripod, microphone, a list of questions and the intention of starting a conversation about the value of vulnerability. Here are the results.
